About this recipe
Everybody loves hamburgers (even us). Sure, you can barbecue them, but you can also broil them in the oven or make them in a frying pan.
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together:
- 2 lbs. lean ground beef,
- 2 eggs (use 2 yolks and 1 white),
- 2-3 tbsp. barbecue sauce,
- 4-5 tbsp. breadcrumbs,
- 4-5 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley,
- 1 tsp. salt, ½ tsp. black pepper, and ½ tsp. garlic powder (or garlic salt),
- a little diced onion previously pan-fried in butter (optional).
Squash ingredients thoroughly with your hands and form into patties. (You'll probably need more breadcrumbs to tighten things up.) Then cook ’em and eat ’em.
Notes
- The secret is the garlic and the barbecue sauce.
- You can crush real garlic cloves instead of using powder.
- Some people add a couple shakes of that Worcestershire.
